Super Easy Peasy Crocheted Flowers

I forgot to do a post for the crocheted flowers that went with my knitted slippers.

Actually, I won't give instructions, just this YouTube video. It was so easy and well explained, that ANYBODY could crochet these flowers.

I haven't crocheted in over 20 years and I was able to pick up my hook and go.  I like to sew a clasping pin to the back, so that you can put it on anything. Such as, a toque, slippers, a purse, sweater, headband .......

  1. Looks good. Makes me want to crochet up a few. Something to do on cold winter nights.

  2. It just adds a finishing touch, doesn't it?

Did you make your cardigan sweater, too? I'm looking for a simple cardigan to make from some handspun yarn and I like the looks of that sweater...just wondered if there is a pattern link to it ;)

    1. Hi Cary
No, I didn't make my sweater. I wish I could though, but I haven't graduated that high in my knitting or crocheting skills. Good luck finding a simple pattern. Have you looked on the websites of the yarn brands, like, Red Heart? They have thousands of free patterns for every skill level.

  3. Thanks for sharing the pattern. I have been crocheting up baskets and this would look great on them as well. Can't wait to try it!

  4. They would be so cute on your baskets! By the way, my daughter and I would be really interested in your basket pattern. She was just behind me and said, "She knows how to crochet baskets? I love crocheted baskets!" Who knew?

    1. I would love to share it with you. The problem I have is, I make it up as I go, so I need to sit down and write it out, figure out what exactly I did. Maybe try it out one more time to make sure it's right. I do have another super easy basket that I can make it about an hour I could share in the mean time, and she could just add a handle to it. I need to start following directions better, then I could share easier :)
