No More Foil!

I came up with this idea out of sheer need. I had no aluminum foil and I knew it wasn't on sale anywhere. Needing some to cover a lasagna I was making, I used what I had on hand. Which was a metal cookie sheet. I just put it on top of the baking dish and it worked great!
Now, whenever something needs to be covered, I just use my cookie sheet.  This is now one less thing I have to buy from the store.  Yay!

  1. Great idea! This reminded me that my mom ALWAYS use to cover any round dish of leftovers with a plate. I had forgotten about that, but will have to start doing it too :) I need to find something to take the place of large ziploc bags.

  2. Bravo!! When necessity arise...it's a wonder how we can come up with simple but brilliant ideas...sometimes modern commercial convinience takes away simplicity of living. Thanks for sharing this with us:)
